Roller Skids have been around since 1951, when a German inventor designed the product in a small workshop in Port Washington, NY. Our Made in the USA roller skids are the continuation of that design, we meet the highest quality standards and our roller skids are built to give you years of trouble-free operation. The Mark series is produced in ( 7 ) seven basic models, with each unit’s capacity dependent upon size and wheel type. Roller skids transport heavy machinery in confined situations, and go where cranes have no access. • The Junior Model was designed as the light equipment workhorse and features 3 steel rollers.

The multiroll Mark 2 roller skids are equipped with either steel, polyurethane or nylon rollers. Nylon rollers provide floor protection. The Mark 2 available from 5,000 lbs. with nylon rollers to 5,000 lbs with polyurethane or steel rollers Straight Flat Top, Swivel Top or Swivel Lock Tops.

Designed and built to give you years of trouble-free operation, this low-cost kit allows your own employees to move, turn and position bulky machines or equipment anywhere in your plant. Tight corners and rough floors are no problem for the Mark 2 Kit.

The multiroll Mark 4 Series was designed as the medium / heavy weight 20,000 lbs roller skid. The 5″ wide frame provides even distribution of weight. The roller skids endless circulating roller chain revolves around a center load bearing plate in the frame, that provides maximum maneuverability in the tightest quarters on ordinary concrete floors. The weight of the load is transferred directly from the load bearing plate rollers, eliminating axle friction and requiring less motive power to start and move load. Each roller uses shielded bearings to prevent failure and prolong roller service life. Roller Skids for transporting heavy machinery in confined situations.

Why Roller Chain? Loads will roll right over cracks and pitted areas, reducing the possibility of damage to goods. These rollers form an endless chain, which revolves around a center load bearing plate in the frame of the machine dolly to provide maximum maneuverability. The weight of the load is transferred directly from the load bearing plate rollers, eliminating axle friction and requiring less motive power to start and move load. These roller skids are virtually maintenance free, only the roller tracks need periodic cleaning and light oiling.

The multiroll Mark 5DC Dual Chain Series was designed as the heavy weight 60,000 lbs roller skid. The 12½″ wide frame provides a more favorable distribution of weight. The roller skids endless roller chain revolves around a center load bearing plate in the frame, that provides maximum maneuverability in the tightest quarters. The weight of the load is transferred directly from the load bearing plate, eliminating axle friction and requiring less motive power to start and move load. Each roller uses shielded bearings to prevent failure and prolong roller service life.

The multiroll Mark 6 Series was designed as the medium / heavy weight 17,500 lbs roller skid. The 7″ wide frame provides a more favorable distribution of weight. The Mark 6 roller skids are equipped with either polyurethane or nylon rollers. Nylon rollers provide floor protection. The Mark 6 are available from 17,500 lbs nylon or polyurethane rollers.
